I have my steam link physically plugged into a router and have noticed zero latency when playing games on my monitor. Dose the head set not have a Power input as well? If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. I fortunately am not crammed into a skyscrapper like a sardine. Here it is on top of the Xbox One. But every game I tested this week has been playable: Call of Duty, The Witcher, Rocket League, Type Rider, Portal 2, and the list goes on. You should restart Steam to get the latest update, and ensure you're not on any beta branches. So moving the computer closer will probably be the only solution for the next few years. Then it would have to stream two seperate video channels one for each eye all through a chipset designed to run one channel. This of course depends on how far away the two devices are, how much network penetration you get in your house, et cetera. I wonder if there's a way to mirror the mic out to the steam link as well. So, my entrance price probably includes buying a whole new computer and I am still left with the problem that most of my games are played better with a keyboard and a mouse in front of me. I have multiple computers I always save my old ones , and I have most of my recent ones hooked up to large flat screens surrounding me in what I might describe as a mini mission control pit.
